Summary[edit]
DescriptionWyvern Fighter of the Week.jpg |
English: This week’s Wyvern Fighter of the Week is Staff Sgt. Christopher Gentry, 731st Expeditionary Attack Squadron, power production, who has been a part of Wyvern Nation for almost two months.
Gentry led a team of five Airmen outside their career fields in the rapid install of weather-stripping on a hangar, accomplishing the task in one day. Additionally, he worked directly with the 432nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, operating a man-lift and physically helping them relocate the Ground Data Terminal to a line of sight, allowing MQ-9 operations to continue. Moreover, Gentry played a vital role in an emergency repair on the generator powering the unit’s MQ-9 cockpit, getting it back up in time for the pilots to be able to take control of the aircraft within a mere 90 minutes prior to landing. Gentry’s father is his biggest role model. He states he is the reason he does what he does. His father raised him in the military and has always been his number one mentor since the day he was born. Great job Staff Sgt. Gentry, we appreciate all your hard work! |
