Deutsch: Meridianpunkt (ein historisches astronomisches Instrument), aufgestellt im Akademiepark (Park der Theresianischen Militärakademie) in Wiener Neustadt, Niederösterreich.
Nach einer daneben angebrachten Tafel stammt das Instrument vom Observatorium der Akademie, das im Rákóczi-Turm untergebracht war, und wurde 1821 errichtet. Es befindet sich an der südlichen Einfriedung nahe dem Fohlenhof.
English: A historical astronomical instrument now set up in Akademiepark (park of Theresian Military Academy) at Wiener Neustadt, Lower Austria.
According to a tablet set up nearby the instrument was made in 1821 and was in use at the Academy's observatory at Rákóczi tower. It is now situated at the southern wall of the park. |
