| Description |
English: Worn ammonite fossil, Hedbury Looking down from the edge of the quarry floor, a small ledge protrudes out into the sea (of the same ilk as the much larger Dancing Ledge 500 metres to the east. The circular feature is a worn ammonite fossil; it is not sufficiently well-preserved to see ribs or other details. There are a number like this on the narrow sea-level ledge. |
