Description
English: A woman employee of Douglas Aircraft Company's plant in Long Beach, California, being trained on the details of installing an aircraft engine. The engine is a Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp 14-cylinder radial engine of 1,200 horsepower (890 kW); it is being installed on a Douglas C-47 Skytrain twin-engined transport airplane, the military version of the Douglas DC-3 airliner.
