Description
English: 1940 portrait drawing by Wolfgang Willrich (1897–1948) of Fritsch, Kradmelder (Kraftradmelder) einer Panzer-Vorausabteilung, a despatch rider in a tank troop vanguard of the army of Nazi Germany delivering a message on his motorcycle. Postcard (Postkarte, Ansichtskarte, Propagandapostkarte) E 32 10,5 x 14,5 cm, issued by Volksbund für das Deutschtum im Ausland (VDA) in Berlin, Germany during World War II.

Between 1935 and the outbreak of World War II in September 1939 Willrich produced a massive amount of portraiture depicting ‘models of the German race’ that was appreciated by the Nazis. During the war Willrich made portraits of military people of Germany as Third Reich and Wehrmacht propaganda.
