English: Wisdom of God, Buckland Road. A grade I listed Anglican church with the unusual dedication to "Jesus Christ the Wisdom of God", which is pretty enough outside but its real treasures are within. Unique in England, its basilica-style interior is filled with genuine marbles and mosaics from ancient Rome and Byzantium. |
