| Description |
English: Winter beach huts, Broadsands The beach huts facing out to sea at Broadsands are taken off the main beach front in the winter, as they get a battering from time to time. There is a row of huts not so privileged which are in the lea of the "promeande", but which stay where they are, facing a green. It is these which are pictured here. There is a small stream which flows by the car park in the foreground, hence the reeds. The nearly leafless tree stands in front of the ploughed field of red South Devon soil, ready for its next crop. Clouds lour and we don't know what the weather will do today. |
