Summary[edit]

Description
English: This image of the Winged Victory statue at Marrickville Town Hall shows the replica statue which replaced the original statue in 2015. The original was moved to the Australian War Memorial in Canberra to mark the Anzac Day Centenary. The statue of Nike, the Greek Goddess of Victory, was made to commemorate the local residents who lost their lives in the First World War.
