Summary[edit]

Description
English: Winestead Hall, Winestead, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
The mansion house at Red Hall Estate known as Winestead Hall was destroyed by fire in the early part of the 20th century and of the original 18th century buildings only the stable block and a walled garden remain. From the 1930s to the mid 1980s the site was used as a mental hospital and most of the present day buildings were built for this purpose between the 1930s and the 1960s. From 1989 to 1998 Winestead Hall was a residential school for disadvantaged children and young people. It is currently home to the 'College for International Co-operation and Development'.
