Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The red bus on the right is Wilts & Dorset 711 (TIL 6711), a Leyland-bodied Leyland Olympian, in Newport, Isle of Wight bus station, on route 1. It was Cowes Week at the time, so larger buses were being run on route 1 as duplicates. 711 was part of the Go South Coast events fleet at the time, which was being looked after by Southern Vectis. Also seen, on the left, are native Southern Vectis Dennis Darts 314 (on the left), and 302 (beside it). 711 was receiving attention from mechanics. Sister Olympian 706, also on route 1, is also seen at the back, having just pulled up behind 711 when the photo was taken.
