Great sorrow has come to the home of Mrs. William G. Alderton in the death of her husband which occurred on Thursday last. Mr. Alderton had been a sufferer for a year and a half. Close attention to business caused a break-down and left him an invalid. The limitations thus thrust upon him were most trying to a man of his active spirit. One son, abroad In service, Induced additional strain, and In spite of all the loving ministrations of wife, daughter and the son at home, his career on earth closed while yet less than sixty years of age. To the afflicted widow, sons and daughter, the deepest sympathy is extended.
