Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Will it go? Three members of the Claymills Pumping Engines Trust prepare to start a Ford flat-head V8 coupled to a Tangye centrifugal pump at Hayley Green Pumping Station. It was found to be a runner (but was only run briefly as the cooling water supply was from the disconnected pump). The engine is now at Claymills Victorian Pumping Station, Burton-on-Trent but has a prodigious thirst for petrol.
