Deutsch: Das Wohn- und Geschäftshaus „Alliiertenhof“ an der Adresse Praterstraße 33 im 2. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Leopoldstadt. Das Gebäude wurde im Auftrag von Julius Léon von Wernburg (1842–1927), ein österreichischer Textilindustrieller, anstelle des Hauses „Zu den drei Alliierten“ 1896 von dem Architekten Ludwig Tischler errichtet. An der Fassade (erster Stock) ist ein Medaillon von dem Bildhauer Josef Klieber mit den Reliefbildnissen von Franz I., Alexander I. von Russland und Friedrich Wilhelm III. von Preußen angebracht. Am nahe gelegenen Tabor holte am 25. September 1814 Kaiser Franz I. die drei alliierten Kaiser gegen Napoleon I. zum feierlichen Einzug in Wien ab, womit der Wiener Kongress begann. |
