Deutsch: Der Vertikalkreis der Kuffner Sternwarte wurde 1893 geliefert, Erbauer war Repsold & Söhne (Hamburg), die Optik stammt von Steinheil & Söhne (München). Verwendung fand er u.a. 1890-1904 im Rahmen des Zonenprogramms der Astronomischen Gesellschaft als Zusatzinstrument zum Meridiankreis. English: The Vertical circle of the Kuffner Observatory in Vienna was delivered in 1893. It is built by Repsold & Söhne (Hamburg), optics by Steinheil & Söhne (Munich). Using this Vertical circle was mainly 1890-1904 as part of the Zone program of Astronomische Gesellschaft for accompanying measurements in addition to the Meridian circle. |
