Appeared as lead-ing woman with this co. until 1898,when she returned to Cal., appearingas Magda, Fedora and La Tosca. Shetoured extensively through U. S., andbegan world-wide tour, 1900, openingat Sydney, N. S. W., proceeding there-after to England, where her first Lon-don appearance was made as Magda,Adelphi, Sept. 1, 1902. In England shealso appeared in Camille, Elizabethand other r>lays of her rep. Re-turning- to U. S.. appeared extensivelyon tour in Judith, Magda, Hedda Gab-ler, The Fires of St. John, Macbeth,The Jewess, The Sorceress, MonnaVanna, Leah, Nancy Sikes (OliverTwist), Camille, Parthenia (Ingomar),Lady Teazle, Meg Merillies, Tess ofthe DUrbervilles, Rebecca West(Rosmersholm).
