Description Juvenile White-tailed Kite Elanus leucurus, Las Gallinas, San Rafael, California. Digiscoped, using the Bogen 501 tripod head to follow the young kite as it hovered about 40-50 meters away. 50 per cent crop, levels. Taken with the Nikoin 8400, ISO 100, f 3.1, 1/1126 sec, 9.5mm zoom (green zone).
