Summary[edit]

Description
English: The tree at the center of the sitting space at the west end of Whalen Playground, at the northwest corner of East 205th Street and Perry Avenue in Norwood, Bronx. The playground and the adjacent NYPL Mosholu Library were built in the 1950s on top of the Norwood–205th Street IND subway station. The park was renovated in 2018, upgrading the existing sitting space, and adding a playground to the previously-named Whalen Park.
