Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Westgate House. Office building occupied by Calderdale Council. Between 1971 and 2005 the ground floor of the building (or at least the area uphill of the doorway) was occupied by Westgate Market, now in turn replaced by a single shop - 1575343. Westgate Market replaced the Lower Market (or Halifax Indoor Market) which stood roughly where Boots and Tesco are now located on Market Street. The DHSS also occupied part of Westgate House. |
