| Description |
English: Western part of Imber Range Taken from the extreme north-western corner of the square, where the Imber Range Perimeter Path clips the square. Looking south-east this picture shows most of square ST8848. Field Barn can be seen on the right middle distance, with the IRPP climbing Warminster Down beyond. A range track descends from Warminster Down to the left, across the east side of the square. Other tracks run west to east, unseen in the valley bottom, towards Ranscombe Bottom off to the left. Although part of the restricted range area, this is still mainly farmland. |
