English: Western portal Weehawken Tunnel at Bergen Hill-Hudson Palisades.The tunnel, 4,100 ft (1,250-m) long, was originally built by the New York West Shore and Buffalo Railroad (NYWS&B) from 1881-1883 to provide a connection to the Hudson River waterfront at the Weehawken Terminal. It is now used by the HBLR, including the Bergenline Station |
