John Groom's Cripplegate and Flower Girls' Mission (incorporated).

Formerly known as the Watercress and Flower Girls' Christian Mission.

We respectfully ask your kind acceptance of this little Buttonhole, made by one of our Crippled Girls, of we have nearly 300 under our care, who are received from all parts of the kingdom without votes, payment, or influence, and who are being trained to become self-supporting in spite of the serious physical disabilities under which they labour.

It is earnestly hoped that this work (begun in 1866), which has received and trained to self-dependence many hundreds of these afflicted girls, may commend itself to your kind and practical sympathy.

Rules, Forms and report upon application to:
ALFRED G GROOM, Supt.,
The Criplegate, Sekforde Street, Clerkenwell, E.C.1.

You are respectfully asked to excuse the error if a duplicate appeal reaches you. Great care has been taken to avoid annoyance, or expense in sending. Should the flower not be approved please give it to some crippled child, or patient in the hospital, to whom doubtless it will give pleasure
