Summary[edit]

Description
English: Waterside's locomotive shed
Waterside's roofless locomotive shed, which had probably not seen any locomotives since the mid-1960s. In the distance can be seen two "brown vans", a 4-wheel parcels vehicle built by the Ulster Transport Authority (UTA) in the 1940s to an LMS(NCC) design. On the right is a de-engine BUT, built by the Great Northern Railway (Board) in 1957-58 to a Park Royal Vehicles design. In their last years, some BUTs served as de-engine locomotive hauled stock and it's probable this example "failed" at Waterside while on an excursion.
