Description
English: American Planes bring aid to Warsaw Uprising in August 1944. Photo was made soon after throwing out of the containers with aid above Mokotów district, so the parachutes did not have time to open yet. On the bottom one can see horse race track of Służewiec and Puławska street on the right
Polski: Samoloty Alianckie przynoszą pomoc Powstaniu Warszawskiemu w sierpniu 1944. Zdjęcie dokonano bezpośrednio po wyrzuceniu zasobników zrzutowych nad Mokotowem, także spadochrony nie miały czasu się jeszcze rozwinąć. Romboidalna konstrukcja na środku to Fort VIIA Twierdzy Warszawa, po prawej od niego ulica Puławska, na dole zabudowania wsi Służewiec, a poniżej nich teren Toru wyścigów konnych, po lewej od toru zabudowa Wyczółek, w prawym górnym rogu zdjęcia Ksawerów.
