Description
English: A steel fence post, on a standard seven wire fence in New Zealand. The Waratah Fence post is the brand (trademark) that was owned by BHP in Australia and is now owned by OneSteel. The Waratah fence post or better known in Australia as its trademark "Star" post was patented in 1921.
English: Mainly the Y-shaped Waratah fence posts are used for trail markers in exposed mountain regions of New Zealand.
