Blasonierung nach Ströhl:

"Als Helmkleinod (als »Imperial-Crest« für die St. Georgs-Kapelle in Windsor angefertigt) führt Se. Majestät der deutsche Kaiser den aus der Helmkrone wachsenden deutschen Reichsadler, über dem die bebänderte Reichskrone schwebt. Zu Seiten des Adlers, in die Helmkrone gesteckt , erscheint rechts die Kaiserstandarte, links die preussische Königsstandarte. Der goldene Spangenhelm mit schwarz-silbern-roter Decke trägt an goldener Kette ein von Silber und Schwarz geviertes Schildchen (Hohenzollern) als Halskleinod." - Ströhl, Hugo Gerard: Deutsche Wappenrolle.
