Description
Français : Une danseuse lors de la fête de l'Assomption le 15 août 2019 à Mata Utu sur l'île de Wallis (Wallis et Futuna). Il est de coutume de féliciter les danseurs en accrochant ou remplissant leurs vêtements de billets (ici, un billet de 5000 XPF (Francs pacifiques) est visible). La danseuses a également un collier de fleurs (tiaré) et des décorations florales dans les cheveux.
English: A female dancer from Wallis island during the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary festivities on 15th August 2019 in Mata Utu on Wallis island, Wallis and Futuna. Dancers are rewarded with Franc Pacifique (XPF) banknotes (here a 5000 XPF note) attached to their hair or clothes. This dancer also wears a flower wreath around her neck and has flower decorations in her hair.
