| Description |
English: Walden Park, Buffalo, New York, November 2020, as seen from its northwest corner looking out toward the Walden Park Apartments. Established in 1973 on a nearly 21-acre plot of vacant land in the Schiller Park neighborhood abutted by the Frontier Rail Yard and what was once a used lumber yard, the park encompasses three baseball diamonds and a number of shelters and playground areas. The Walden Park Apartments are immediately to the east of the park, directly abutting the city line and comprising 126 one- and two-bedroom subsidized units for senior citizens. |
