English: Third Reich Navy officers' dress dagger (Wehrmacht Kriegsmarine Offiziersdolch, ) as ornamental uniform regalia (Ehrenwaffe, honour weapon). Decorated with Nazi style German imperial eagle clutching a swastika. Also scabbard and portepee (sword knot). See Dagger Guide at www.germandaggers.com. Item left behind after the German occupation of Norway during the Second World war 1940 – 1945.
