Description
English: German inspired peaked visor cap (Norwegian: høylue, politilue, skyggelue) model 1942 of the Statspolitiet, the Nazi State police in German-occupied Norway 1941-1945. Cap insignia (police emblem) is similar to the redesigned eagle and suncross/sunwheel emblem of Nasjonal Samling (NS), Quisling's Norwegian Nazi party before and during World War II. Photo taken on 2019-05-08 Photo taken on 8th May 2019 at the Lofoten War Memorial Museum ("Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum") in Svolvær, Norway.
