Den Haag Dit opvallende gebouw van rode baksteen met als bijnaam de rode olifant, in Amsterdamse School-stijl staat aan het eind van de Utrechtsebaan en is ontworpen in de jaren 1921-1924 door Herman de Roos en Willem Overeijnder. De officiële naam is Petrolea; het is gebouwd als hoofdkantoor van de oliemaatschappij Esso, met een kantooroppervlak van ruim 10.000 vierkante meter. De toren, versierd met een olifant van natuursteen, is 56 meter hoog.
