Deutsch: Abnahme der postoperativen Schmerzen während Bestrahlung in der Gruppe mit wassergefiltertem Infrarot A (wIRA) und sichtbarem Licht (VIS) und in der Kontrollgruppe mit nur sichtbarem Licht (VIS) (Studie Heidelberg)(erhoben mit einer visuellen Analogskala; dargestellt mit Minimum, 25%-Perzentile, Median, 75%-Perzentile und Maximum (Box-Whiskers-Darstellung; die Box repräsentiert die Interquartil-Spanne)).Der Schmerz nahm während der 230 einzelnen Bestrahlungen mit wIRA(+VIS) ausnahmslos ab, während der Schmerz in der Kontrollgruppe unverändert blieb (p<0,000001 für jeden einzelnen dargestellten Tag wie auch für die Gesamtheit der Tage).
English: Decrease of postoperative pain during irradiation in the group with water-filtered infrared-A (wIRA) and visible light (VIS) and in the control group with visible light (VIS) only (Study Heidelberg) (assessed with a visual analogue scale; given as minimum, 25th percentile, median, 75th percentile, and maximum (box and whiskers graph with the box representing the interquartile range)).
During 230 single irradiations with wIRA(+VIS) the pain decreased without any exceptions, while pain remained unchanged in the control group (p<0.000001 for any single documented day as well as for all the days).
