Description
English: Sgt. Dremiel Byers, a member of the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program at Fort Carson, Colo., takes the mat against 2000 Olympic gold medalist Rulon Gardner in the Greco-Roman super-heavyweight finale of the 2004 U.S. National Wrestling Championships at Las Vegas Convention Center. Byers won the match, 4-0, to earn the No. 1-seed in the 2004 U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team Trials May 21-23 at Indianapolis.
