Description
English: Votive lamps in a Buddhist temple in Taiwan (1990). Shot by the uploader (Miuki). For the price of a yearly fee, a light illuminating a tiny bouddha burns in your name and brings you good luck for 365 days. In 2005 in Taipei, the fee in the most prestigious temples is about 500~1000 US$.
