Galego: Canón de ferro de 18 libras (regulamento de 1783) de tres corpos e ánima seguida recuperado do pecio da fragata Magdalena, afundida na ría de Viveiro o 2 de novembro de 1810. Foi fundido na Real Fábrica de Artillería de Cavada (Cantabria). Pertenceu ao navío "San Julián" e o comandante da "Magdalena" solicitou o cambio dos de 12 libras polos de 18 libras en 1784. Mide 2480 mm de longo, ten un diámetro máximo de 148 cm e mínimo de 95 cm e pesa 2208 kg. Español: Cañón de hierro de 18 libras (reglamento de 1783) de tres cuerpos y ánima seguida recuperado del pecio de la fragata Magdalena, hundida en la ría de Viveiro el 2 de noviembre de 1810. Fue fundido en la Real Fábrica de Artillería de Cavada (Cantabria). Perteneció al navío "San Julián" y el comandante de la "Magdalena" solicitó el cambio de los de 12 libras por los de 18 libras en 1784. Mide 2480 mm de largo, tiene un diámetro máximo de 148 cm y mínimo de 95 cm y pesa 2208 kg. English: Iron cannon of 18 pounds (Regulation of 1783) and three bodies recovered from the wreck of the Magdalena frigate sunk in the estuary of Viveiro on 2 November 1810. It was casted in the Royal Artillery Factory in Cavada (Cantabria ). He belonged to the ship "San Julian" and the commander of the "Magdalena" requested a change of 12 pounds for 18 pounds in 1784. It measures 2480 mm long, has a maximum diameter of 148 cm and 95 cm minimum and weighs 2208 kg. |
