א. תמיסת חלבונים מונחת בתא העליון של מתקן הריכוז, בין התא העליון לתחתון נמצא פילטר בעל חרירים המאפשרים חדירה של מים מלחים מולקולות קטנות וחלבונים קטנים בלבד. ב. עקב הסירכוז עוברים דרך הפילטר רוב הנוזלים והחלקיקים הקטנים, לעומת זאת החלבונים הגדולים נשארים בדוגמה המרוכזת. |
