Bal op 09 januari 2008 - 11:22. Dit is de "oude" oesterput van de Zeeuwse Oestermaatschappij Bonafides. Bonafides had op een terrein buiten de originele vestingwerken van het stadje Tholen diverse putten liggen. Deze putten waren gesitueerd op de plaats waar in het verleden de "zoute" vesten van het stadje lagen. De oesters werden aangevoerd vanaf de steiger van Bonafides in het getijdehaventje van Tholen. In de rechterbovenhoek is de coupure door het zg. "kleine diekje" te zien waardoor de oesters vanaf de reeds genoemde steiger werden aangevoerd. Later is deze oesterput door de Thoolse bot- en palingvissers in gebruik genomen om hun verse levende vangst op te slaan in zg. beunen. Op de helling is te zien hoe de verpakte oesters per kruiwagen werden afgevoerd voor verdere distributie per vrachtwagen.
