Description
Español: Esta obra, que está colocada en la Sacristía de los Cálices de la catedral de Sevilla, (España), es atribuida por la mayoría de los historiadores en la actualidad al pintor Alonso Vázquez. Este pintor malagueño se estableció en Sevilla entre 1588 y 1603, donde cultivó el estilo manierista, y esta obra fue encargada por Beatriz Pérez para ocupar el centro del retablo que tenía en el convento de Santa María de Jesús de Sevilla, aunque posteriormente pasó a manos del deán López Cepero, cuyos descendientes la donaron a la catedral hispalense. Y fue restaurada por el IAPH en 1999.
