Summary[edit]

Description Engine No. 3 of the Portsmouth, Ohio Fire Department. It's an old American LaFrance. I don't know the vintage but it had a crank for starting. Seeing it recalls memory of my hometown of Worthington, Ohio raising $100 in contributions to buy a windshield for the fire engine. Worthington addes Seagrave engine to replace a Model T engine when I was in grade school during the thirties.
