| Description |
Slovenčina: Obec Miková, sa v archívnych písomnostiach po prvý raz spomína v roku 1390. Historicky patrí do regiónu Šariš, územno-správne do Prešovského kraja. V súčasnosti v nej žije takmer 170 obyvateľov. Je rodiskom rodičov svetového moderného maliara Andyho Warhola. Málo známou raritou je, že v obci Miková sa od roku 1913 do roku 1951 ťažila ropa. Celkovo bolo v Mikovej vyvŕtaných sedemnásť vrtov v hĺbke 50 až 250 metrov. |
