Description
English: The Ancient Agora was the political, administrative, and financial centre of Ancient Athens. It was in use from the 6th cent. B.C. to the 6th (?) cent. A.D. In the picture are depicted the remains of the Temple of Hephaestus (5th cent. B.C.) and the Odeon of Agrippa (1st cent. B.C.).
