Description

Ελληνικά: Παραδοσιακός οικισμός Ύδρας. Ο παραδοσιακός οικισμός της Ύδρας, οφείλει την υψηλή πολιτιστική του αξία στην ιστορική και αρχιτεκτονική αξία των κτισμάτων του σε συνδυασμό με ένα ιδιαίτερο και ισχυρό φυσικό τοπίο.

Ο κτιριακός της πλούτος συνίσταται σε κτίρια αρχοντικά, με κύριο χαρακτηριστικό τους το φρουριακό χαρακτήρα και το μεγάλο και επιβλητικό τους όγκο, κτισμένα τα περισσότερα με εμφανή λιθοδομή σε ισόδομο σύστημα και σύνθετη μορφή λειτουργικής οργάνωσης.

Ο πολεοδομικός ιστός χαρακτηρίζεται από στεγασμένα διαβατικά και εμπλουτίζεται από μικρά πλατώματα στα σημεία συνάντησης των δρόμων, από πεζούλια, σκαλοπάτια, κατώφλια εισόδων, πεζούλες φυτεμένες, μάντρες, ειδικές διαμορφώσεις της βάσης των κτιρίων, θύρες και θυρώματα.
