| Description |
English: View from the Sandbanks Ferry If driving from the London area to the Purbeck coast, you have the choice of making a long detour via Wareham, or using the Sandbanks Chain Ferry, (summer only). However, the ferry is quite expensive, and at peak times you could be waiting well over an hour to get on. The above photograph shows the view towards the Purbeck side. |
