Description
English: Hue, South Vietnam. 1969-10. Major (Maj) Gordon Brown of Puckapunyal, Vic, a member of the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) watches as Vietnamese women say prayers over the remains of clothing found in a mass grave. Maj Brown is Senior District Adviser at Nam Hoa and was responsible for co-ordinating the search for the mass grave following information from a rallier to the South Vietnamese Government. The remains of about 250 victims of the Viet Cong (VC) in the 1968 Tet Offensive were found in the grave.
