English: Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. James A. Winnefeld Jr., left foreground, receives a Cleveland Indians baseball jersey from Jim Folk, the teams vice president of ballpark operations, during a pre-game ceremony Aug. 27, 2012, at Progressive Field in Cleveland as part of Cleveland Navy Week. Navy Week is an annual series of events held throughout the year in various U.S. cities without a significant Navy presence. The event provides an opportunity for citizens to interact with Sailors and learn about the Navy and its capabilities. Before receiving the jersey, Winnefeld presented Folk with the battle flag flown aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Cleveland (LPD 7) before the ships decommissioning in 2011. |
