Summary[edit]

Description
English: Vespasian House and the Military Museum. Named after a Roman general, Vespasian House was originally grey in colour in the stark commercial buildings style of the 1960's/70`s. Since then it has had cosmetic treatment and the exterior has been clad in brickwork to be more in keeping with the other brick buildings of the area. The general is wearing his armour! The Military Museum is Victorian and was designed to look like a Norman keep. It was the gateway to the barracks.
