Summary[edit]
Verlinghem, Nord.- Hauts-de-France English: Porch of the Templar farm (16th century, in a pointed arch, defended by two triangular buttresses surmounted by pepperboxes between which a relief bears the coat of arms of the family of Jean de Conninck, owner of the estate in the beginning of the XVIIth century), as well as a motto oli Deo Gloria (to God alone the glory) dated 1622. The whole building is remarkable because it would have belonged in 1373 to the Hospital of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem (now the Order of Malta), a great rival to the Order of the Temple of Solomon, Verlinghem Nord Hauts-de-France.
