Summary[edit]

Description

When Barnes & Noble had a payment card breach in 2012, all of the classic Verifone Everest pinpads were immediately removed from the stores. All magnetic cards had to be swiped by the cashiers.

Finally, about a year later, newer (and hopefully more hack-proof) Verifone MX 900 series terminals were installed.
