| Description | D510PPU is one of just three low height, full length ECW coach type Leyland Olympians built for the UK- Eastern National took three to add to their City Commuter fleet. The coach has received several modifications over the years, the Leyland TL11 engine has been replaced by a Gardner 6XLB, opening windows have been added to supplement ventilation, the front headlight and side light units have been modified and the destination equipment has been removed and the space plated over. This coach is now with Venturer Coaches, Suffolk and is seen at their depot during an enthusiast tour which featured both survivors of this unusual type. |
