Italiano: Opera dall'intenso sapore guardesco, il cui modello pittorico si riconosce nella tela del maestro conservata all'Accademia di Belle Arti

a Venezia (olio su tela, cm 69X94) e datata ai primi anni dell'ottavo decennio, ma altrettanto puntuale è il confronto con il dipinto custodito presso la Galleria estense di Modena, la cui autografia è però messa in dubbio dalla critica, ma si cita altresì quella al clark Art institute e alla Glasgow Art Gallery. lo stile e la stesura rimandano tuttavia alla figura di Giacomo Guardi (Venezia, 1764-1835), e sovviene alla memoria la "Veduta dell'isola di San Michele" conservata al Rijksmuseum di Amsterdam (olio su tela, cm 14X21,5). Nonostante gran parte della sua attività si sia svolta nei primi decenni del XiX secolo, il più giovane dei Guardi è ritenuto uno dei più

rappresentativi interpreti della tradizione vedutistica veneziana.
