Summary[edit]

Description
English: A wooden stepladder blocks part of the sign at the crossover beneath the platform of the Van Siclen Avenue Elevated Railway station over the intersection of Van Siclen Avenue and Fulton Street on the BMT Jamaica Line between the East New York and Cypress Hills sections of Brooklyn, New York City. One staircase leads to the west side of the platform, which is closer to the Lower Manhattan-bound trains (that's the one blocked by the ladder if you look straight at the sign), and the other leads to the east side of the platform which is closer to the Jamaica-bound trains, but honestly both staircases lead up to the center of the platform, and commuters can use trains in either direction.
